It is believed that this door is protected by the serpents, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu himself, and opening this door can lead to some big mishap.

The priests associated with the temple believe that this seventh door of the temple was closed by chanting some special mantras. No one has been able to open it till now. To open this door, special mantras will have to be chanted without any mistake. Seeing the shape of snakes on the door, experts believe that it must have been tied with some mantra like Nag Pasham. Now it can be opened by chanting the Garuda mantra. However, these mantras are so difficult that even a slight mistake in their pronunciation or method can prove to be fatal. This is also a reason why this last door is not opened.
